Common Landscaping Questions About Our Services
  • What areas does Harris Brothers Landscaping & Services cover?

We serve clients across Northern Kentucky and into the Greater Cincinnati area. Our primary service areas in Kentucky include Erlanger, Florence, Hebron, Taylor Mill, Independence, and Boone, Kenton, and Campbell Counties. On the Ohio side, we cover Cincinnati, Reading, and Norwood. If you're unsure whether we reach your property, give us a call or send a text and we'll let you know quickly. We generally work within a 15 to 30 mile radius, though exceptions can be made for larger commercial or mulch installation projects.
  • Do you take on heavily overgrown or neglected yards that other companies won't touch?

Yes, that's actually one of our specialties. We position ourselves as an Overgrown Yard Specialist, which means we regularly take on high-difficulty properties with thick vegetation, debris buildup, fallen trees, and vines that standard maintenance crews often turn away. Whether your yard has been neglected for a season or several years, we have the equipment and experience to restore it. Many of our residential clients come to us after receiving city fines or feeling too embarrassed about their property to have family over. Restoring that sense of pride is something we take seriously.
  • How much experience does the team have, and is this an owner-operated business?

Yes, Harris Brothers is fully owner-operated. Kobe Harris has been working in landscaping since age nine and has 12 years of cumulative experience, including formative years learning the trade under his father's guidance. His brother Jacob co-owns and runs the business alongside him. The company was formally established as a legal entity in 2023, but the knowledge and work ethic behind it go back well over a decade. Because the owners are directly in the field on jobs, you get a level of personal accountability that larger, crew-based companies simply can't offer.
  • What lawn care and landscape maintenance services do you offer?

We offer a full range of lawn care and landscape maintenance services. On the maintenance side, that includes weekly and bi-weekly mowing, trimming, edging, and monthly cleanups, which is one of our most requested services. For landscape work, we handle mulch installations, pruning, bush removal, land clearing, and tree removal, with large-scale tree jobs managed through a specialized subcontracting partner. We also install metal edging, which we prefer over plastic for its durability and cleaner long-term appearance. Seasonal services include fall cleanups, 24/7 storm cleanup, snow and ice removal, and gutter cleaning.
  • Do you offer landscaping services for HOAs and commercial properties?

Commercial and HOA clients make up about 85 percent of our work, so this is very much our core focus. A strong example of our commercial capability is a 100-condo community in Florence, KY, spanning 7 acres, which our five-person crew completes in 5 to 6 hours per week. We understand that property managers and HOA boards need a partner who shows up consistently, handles large-scale properties efficiently, and responds quickly when emergencies like storms come up. Our 24/7 storm response and consistent weekly maintenance schedules are built specifically to meet those demands.
  • Are there any discounts available, and do you offer flexible payment options?

We do offer several discounts. Veterans, first responders, and medical staff receive a 10 percent discount on services. We also have a Buy 3, Get 1 Free monthly package that works well for clients who want consistent upkeep without a large one-time cost. For new residential clients, we offer a 20 percent discount on one-time cleanups, particularly during the spring and summer growing season. We're also open to breaking payments into installments to make our services more accessible. Just bring it up when you Request Service and we'll work something out.
  • What services do you currently not offer?

There are a few services we don't currently provide. We do not offer irrigation installation, hardscaping such as retaining walls or concrete work, outdoor lighting, overseeding, or chemical weed control and fertilization. Weed control is something we're actively working toward, as we're in the process of obtaining a spray license, so that service should be available in the near future. We'd rather be upfront about our current scope than overpromise. If you have a need we can't fill right now, we're happy to point you in the right direction.
  • What is the fastest way to get in touch or request a quote?

The quickest way to reach us is by text. Because our owners are in the field during working hours, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., a text will get you a faster response than an email. You can also use the Request Service form on this site to get the process started. When you connect with us, expect a real conversation. We typically spend time on consultations to make sure we understand your property and your goals before giving you a quote, because we'd rather get it right than rush through it.
